A car ended up in the Avon Heathcote Estuary after a crash on Thursday morning.
The crash between two cars happened on Main Rd, Mt Pleasant, about 4.30am, said a police spokesman.
The occupants of were out of the car when police arrived and had minor injuries, he said.
