Police are investigating the cause of a grass fire at a seaside Christchurch holiday park this morning.
The fire at the South New Brighton Holiday Park off Halsey St has been deemed suspicious.
Crews from the Anzac and Woolston fire stations were called to extinguish the blaze at the park about 7.10am on Monday.
A Fire and Emergency NZ spokeswoman said they were called out after receiving a report of a smouldering fire at the park.
The incident has been referred to the police, the spokeswoman said.
