A man has been charged with committing an indecent act against a child in a public toilet in Dunedin.
Police allege the 47-year-old man entered a public toilet at the Caledonian Ground in North Dunedin on Saturday and committed an indecent act against a child who was inside.
The man was chased by a member of the public and was caught by police as he headed for his parked car nearby, police said.
He is due to appear in the Dunedin District Court on March 23 on one charge of committing an indecent act.
