From left field: Cherie Jacobson

Reporter Shawn McAvinue puts the hard questions to comedian Cherie Jacobson performing in this year's Dunedin Fringe Festival.

Biggest advantage of getting older? Having whatever you want for breakfast.

Favourite vice? Being bossy.

The song you would like to play when entering a party? Rock the Casbah by the Clash because I think it says ''Cherie don't like it'' when it actually says ''shareef don't like it''.

Favourite body part? My hair because it's red and we need more redheads.

If you were a boy what would you have been named? Aaron, which is a strange name because it sounds like something you'd scream when you are falling down a hole.

Have you ever raised suspicion at an airport? Yes. I was accidentally carrying a butterfly knife in my handbag. It was my dad's and I'd been at my little brother's hockey game cutting the halftime oranges and had forgotten to give him the knife back.

- Cherie Jacobson is a Wellington Comedian.
