Kylie announces Aust concerts

Pop princess Kylie Minogue has announced she will be bringing her KylieX2008 tour to Sydney and Melbourne in December.

Music promoter and chairman of Frontier Touring, Michael Gudinski, will announce dates this week, News Limited reported today.

The KylieX2008 tour has received rave reviews in the UK and Europe, and Gudinski told AAP last month he hoped Minogue would play for Australian audiences following the completion of her 53-date European tour this month.

"The reason I hadn't confirmed dates in Australia is, I really didn't know what I was getting into," News Limited quoted Minogue as saying.

"But now I know. I have a show that breathes and changes and is dependent on people's moods and environment. I can't wait to bring it home." Minogue, who suddenly postponed her 2005 Showgirl tour after being diagnosed with breast cancer, has said she she still has regular check-ups with her doctors.

Her health issues mean Minogue will have to perform a limited amount of shows, News Limited said.
