Otago Museum is a fascinating place for children of all ages,with a swathe of holiday highlights to enjoy through out January and beyond.

Discovery Squad, the museum's supervised holiday programme,runs from January 16 to 27 with exciting adventures travelling around the worldand splashing into summer!

This summer, the highlights of last year's hugely popular exhibition have been brought back to Discovery World!

"Your Face Here -The Science Edition" lets you see yourselfin ways you would never imagine!

And don't miss the latest special exhibition, "Focal Point:150 years of the Otago Daily Times", presenting images from the newspaper'shistory, celebrating its role as an integral part of the Otago community.

In January, join the museum's "Solar-ologist" to explore allabout the sun and the importance of sun protection or get frosty while discovering the chemistry behind freezing in the Freaky Science Shows.

The Tropical Forest gets wet these holidays as it enters itsvery own monsoon season. See how to take shelter from a real rainstorm!

Meanwhile, the museum's eccentric prehistoric professor isready to take you on a monster tour of all things creepy and cretaceous. Join him to learn all about moa, mammals and molluscs.
