Tomorrow, March 1
Dunedin Dahlia Circle annual show, Forbury Park Raceway, 1.30-4pm. Free. Otago Daffodil Group will have bulbs on sale.

Monday, March 3
North Otago Garden Club meets in the Foundation of the Blind Hall, Steward St at 7.30pm. Speaker Laura Heselwood, on London florists Hayford and Rhodes. Flower and vegetable of the month: hydrangea and dwarf French or butter beans.

Alexandra Garden Club meets at the Central Otago Education Centre at 6.45pm. Visit to Bridge Hill gardens. Inquiries to (03) 449-3110.

Maori Hill Garden Club meets Passmore Cres at 10am. Visit to Wells' garden in Abbotsford. Share transport.

Dunedin Floral Art Society annual meeting, St Peter's Church, Hillside Rd, Dunedin, at 7.30pm. Members will demonstrate techniques used in designs.

Tuesday, March 4
Brockville Garden Club meets at the Community Church Hall, 1.30pm. Speaker is Gillian Vine. Afternoon tea, sales table and raffles will follow.

Wednesday, March 5
Otago Rose Society, monthly meeting, St Peter's Church hall, Hillside Rd, 7.30pm. Guest speaker, Noel-Ann Stroud. Supper, raffles.

Saturday, March 8
The Catlins Horticultural Society autumn show, Owaka Community Centre, Ovenden St, from 1.30pm-5pm. Adults $3, children free. All welcome.

Friday, March 7
Bonsai meeting, St Peter's Church hall, Hillside Rd, 6pm-6.30pm. Pot-luck meal followed by a demonstration by Tony Bebb, of Australia. Please bring a main and a dessert to share. Please note change of venue and day, this replaces our normal Tuesday meeting. Contact 454-2113.
