Two Oamaru organisations will provide computer access to help
people to complete next month's national census online.
In order to help achieve the 60% online uptake that
Statistics New Zealand is hoping for in Oamaru, Literacy
North Otago on Ribble St, and the Oamaru Public Library on
Thames St, will act as community access points to complete
census forms on March 5.
Waitaki District Libraries manager Philip van Zijl said staff
would provide guidance and support while ensuring people
could complete the census confidentially.
