Hamilton's Andrew Stroud now has one round up his sleeve as
he raced his Suzuki to title No 9 at the fourth round of five
in this season's Castrol Power 1 New Zealand Superbike
Championships at Hampton Downs, near Meremere, on Sunday.
Hamilton's Andrew Stroud retained his lead in the New Zealand
Superbike series after yesterday's second round of races at
Invercargill but saw rival Robbie Bugden close in after a
controversial finish to the final race of the weekend today.
To add to the excitement of this year's Burt Munro Challenge,
the Southland Motorcycle Club has organised a night with
former world superbike front-runner Aaron Slight and
seven-time New Zealand champion Andrew Stroud on Thursday at
Invercargill's Ascot Park Hotel.
