Noeline Munro was last night awarded the City of Dunedin
Mayor's Business Personality Award.
Mrs Munro received her award at the Westpac Otago Chamber of
Commerce Business Excellence Awards.

Craigs Investment Partners, involved in stockbroking and
portfolio management. She holds an NZX Diploma, is an
Authorised Financial Adviser and a Fellow of the New Zealand
Institute of Directors.
After a brief stint at a local sharebroking firm, Mrs Munro
started her own company which became part of Greenslades Ltd
in 1993. She held the position of executive chairwoman of
Greenslades while continuing to provide investment advice to
her clients. Following the merger of Greenslades, Mrs Munro
was appointed to the board of the Craigs subsidiary
Investment Management Ltd.
Mrs Munro has spent most of her working life dealing with
finance, responsible for everything from large wholesale
portfolios to individual retail clients. She has a passion
for education and working with people needing advice on
savings and investments.
She was issued the New Zealand Women's Suffrage Medal in 1993
recognising her contribution to women in business. She has
always been interested in the progression of women in
business and other responsible positions.
Having previously been associated with both the Otago Chamber
of Commerce as president, and the Otago Business Development
Board as chairwoman, Mrs Munro is enjoying involvement with
the Otago Community Trust. She has held and holds board
positions in private companies and state-owned enterprises.
As a baby boomer, Mrs Munro is fascinated to be part of a
generation breaking down expectations and assumptions of this
group. As a grandparent and a full-time broker, she enjoys a
balanced lifestyle reading, running and fitting in as many
movies as possible.
