Marking New Zealand music month, the presentation was a mix of Dunedin Sound bands, studio clips, Dunedin-filmed music videos, and other bands with links to the Dunedin music scene.
Ms Paris, who played drums in Look Blue Go Purple, said many music videos used Dunedin locations such as Cargill's Castle (the Verlaines' Death and the Maiden), and Otago Peninsula (Snapper's Buddy).
Locally filmed Dunedin Sound bands' music videos were often inventive and creatively shot, she said. Ms Paris' picks would be available later this month at the film archive's suite in the gallery.
