The "Big Night In" community concert is going to be a blast.
Prepare for the most spectacular entertainment pyrotechnics
you have ever seen in Otago.
But it is important to us that everyone is safe, as well as
having a great night in.
You will find a map of Forsyth Barr Stadium and the "Big
Night In" seating and facility areas in the programme inside
yesterday's Otago Daily Times.
Take the programme with you, as there will be limited copies
available at the stadium.
The gates open at 3pm today and the free entertainment starts
at 4.30pm, with the main show starting at 7pm.
The Deloitte VIP Arena is directly in front of the stage,
ahead of the ODT subscribers' area. The lost children
area is directly to the right of the stage. Please tell your
children to make their way to that area if they do get
separated from you.
First-aid facilities are located in the North, South and West
stands, while food and drink kiosks can be found in the North
and South stands.
There are also licensed bars in the North and South stands,
but anyone who looks under 25 may be asked to provide ID and,
if unable to do so, will be refused service.
Here are some handy hints for the day. -
• The closer you try to park to the stadium, the more delays
you will experience.
• The stadium car park is not for public use. Dunedin Rotary
Clubs have $5 car parks available from 3pm at the University
of Otago music building, corner of Forth and Albany Sts, and
the Wickliffe Press car park, corner of Forth and Clyde Sts.
• Public drop-off points are outside gate D, in Anzac Ave,
and opposite Gate C, in Union St East.
• All walking routes to the stadium are alcohol-free.
• You may bring cushions and rugs inside, but no deck chairs,
please.
• Glow sticks are available for children.
• Eftpos, first-aid and toilet facilities are all available
at the stadium.
• If you wish to use bar facilities, please ensure you have
ID if you look under 25.
• Wheelchair access is available at Gates C, E and J.
• Please have your gold-coin donation ready for collection at
the gate, which will be shared between the KidsCan child
cancer foundation, Dunedin North Lions Clubs and Big Night In
Charities Ltd.
• Enjoy the afternoon and evening and please treat each other
with respect.
