More than 1000 people have marched down George St in
Dunedin and gathered in the Octagon to protest against the
Government's asset sales plan.
The march was part of a nationwide campaign spearheaded by
Grey Power, which wants a national referendum on the asset
sales.
Dunedin North Labour MP David Clark tweeted: "Weather and
mood invigorating."
Estimates of the crowd ranged from 1000 to 2000.
