Rotary Club of Dunedin East member Barry Johnston lies among
decorated rubber ducks to be raced down the Water of Leith
tomorrow.
These super-suave ducks will join 5000 of their undecorated
counterparts in several races organised by the Rotary Club of
Dunedin East Charitable Trust to raise money for charity.
The second annual duck race organised by the trust, it will
feature the inaugural corporate duck race - for which
businesses paid $200 to buy a duck, which they then dressed
up. The club aims to raise more than $10,000 for charity.
