Spring was in the air at the Dunedin Botanic Garden
A crowd of more than 300 people enjoyed balmy conditions at a
family gala day to celebrate spring.
The day started with the annual rhododendron day plant sale
in the upper garden car park, before a showcase of local
talent in the bandstand.
The crowd covered the lower garden lawn for the afternoon of
entertainment, which included performances by the Dunedin
Harmony Chorus, Sounds Nor-easterly Choir, Logan Park Jazz
Band, Jack Frost Morris Dancers, Uni Ukes ukulele group and a
Middle Eastern drum and dance show by The Unfortunate
