Strong winds are continuing to make for dangerous driving conditions on Southern highways.
The New Zealand Transport Agency has issued a wind warning for State Highway 1 between Dunedin and the Waitaki Bridge and on the same highway between Dunedin and Milton.
Extra care is required by motorcyclists, drivers of high-sided vehicles and any vehicle towing a caravan.
Warnings are also in place for inland Otago on State Highway 85 between Palmerston and Kyeburn, and State Highway 87 between Mosgiel and Kyeburn.
