The Dunedin Fringe will host a hui next Thursday on the future direction of the festival.
Festival director Josh Thomas said the hui would give artists and others from the community a chance to talk about their aspirations for the festival.
Although no major changes were planned for next year, Mr Thomas wanted to gather ''knowledge and perspective'' from past participants.
Registrations and applications for funding support for the festival next year have opened.
Questions on registration, funding and venues would be answered at the hui at Otago Pioneer Women's Hall, Moray Pl, from 5.30pm, he said.
Funding applications close on October 13 and registrations on October 31.
