'Brockville Battler' Syd Adie dies

The former chairman of the Dunedin Residents and Householders' Association, former president of Brockville Improvement and Amenities Society and long-time critic of the Dunedin City Council, Syd Adie, has died.

Mr Adie (77), who was also known as the ''Brockville Battler'', died unexpectedly in Dunedin on Wednesday.
