A 24 year-old- man was killed in a tractor roll-over near Waikouaiti this morning.
The man was killed when the tractor and fertiliser trailer he was operating slid down a hill on a rural property near the East Otago town about 10.42am.
It appeared the tractor and trailer have rolled over and the driver has been thrown from the tractor cab, Acting Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen, of Dunedin, said.
Worksafe New Zealand have been informed of the incident
