Jonathan, Ieuan and Fiona Thomas cross a viaduct during the annual Taieri Gorge Rail Walk on Sunday.
About 270 people took part in the event, held in association with the Lions Club of South Dunedin, which gave train passengers the opportunity to walk part of the Taieri Gorge rail network in a two-and-a-half-hour trek through two tunnels and across four viaducts while seeing some spectacular river gorge scenery.
