Gasworks Museum grant

The Gasworks Museum in South Dunedin is among the Otago recipients of grants announced yesterday by Science and Innovation Minister Steven Joyce.

The Unlocking Curious Minds fund grants totalled nearly $1million for 25 projects around New Zealand.

The Otago grants were: $40,417 for two University of Otago science education programmes for teenagers; $19,455 for an Otago University ''Science for Supper'' series; $18,600 for the Digital Office to teach digital technology skills; and $19,999 for the Gasworks Museum for engineering and technology demonstration tools.
