A hearing into Sammy Chin's liquor licence for his nightclub Sammy's should be reconvened soon.
Authorities opposed the renewal of the licence last month because of Mr Chin's attitude to host responsibility.
But a district licensing committee hearing last month into the issue was adjourned for 28 days to give Mr Chin time to present a management plan.
Committee chairman Colin Weatherall said yesterday the hearing would reconvene in the next two weeks to consider the management plan Mr Chin had put together.
