Continuing to make the most of Dunedin actors and scenes,
38 Pictures has been busy turning streets into film sets and
blowing up cars as crew film episode four of criminal
investigation game Casebook.
38 Pictures is providing the film footage for Areo, the
company which makes the computer game.
Footage was dispersed between game play to enable players to
learn more about the investigation, executive producer Zoe
Hobson said.
The crew of up to 25 people would be filming for eight days
to create 45 minutes of footage for Episode 4: In Absentia.
Locations have included Lower Stuart St, a North Dunedin
house and Blackhead Quarry, where a car was blown up, much to
the delight of the crew, who had spent a day filming in the
rain.
"We are really trying to support the Dunedin film industry.
We are pretty lucky to live in a place where we have so much
support from the community." Mrs Hobson said.
