Williams, Long appointed to AsiaNZ board

New Zealand Rugby Union president and former All Black winger Bryan Williams and journalist Richard Long have been appointed to the board of trustees of the Asia New Zealand Foundation (AsiaNZ).

Williams played 113 games for the All Blacks between 1970 and 1978 and was appointed NZRU president in April.

Mr Long was chief of staff for Don Brash when he was leader of the National Party, following an extensive career in journalism including a decade as editor of The Dominion newspaper before it merged with The Evening Post.

Long and Williams replace Tony Nowell and Michael Park.
