A 20-month-old girl who was taken away in a car in Mangere this morning has been found.
Police said the Tongan girl was approached by a Polynesian woman at the intersection of Bingara Place and Robertson Rd.
The woman lifted her into a maroon-coloured people mover and drove off towards Favona Rd.
Police said the girl was found safe and well in Mangere.
