State Highway 1 is blocked at Dunsandel in Canterbury this morning after a truck rolled on to a railway crossing.
The driver is trapped in the cab and reportedly has moderate injuries.
Emergency services are at the scene and the truck is still straddling the railway line at the intersection of Selwyn lake road and the crossing.
The highway is blocked and detours are in place.
