Two teens injured in separate crashes near Rotorua on Saturday are still in critical conditions in Waikato Hospital's intensive care unit.
A 17-year-old girl suffered severe injuries when she was hit by a car on State Highway 33 in the early hours of Saturday.
A man, 19, has appeared in Rotorua District Court facing charges in relation to the incident.
In a separate incident, a 16-year-old boy was hit by a bus carrying tourists on Old Taupo Rd about 11.30am and suffered serious head injuries.
