Police have named a man killed when he crashed his motorised bicycle near Motueka yesterday.
Thomas Patrick McCarthy, known as Colin, 52, was riding his home-built motorised bicycle down Brooklyn Valley Road when it appeared he lost control and crashed into a ditch.
An investigation into the crash had begun and the death referred to the coroner, police said.
