Kim Dotcom is banned from using helicopters, travelling by boat or going 80km from his home, ahead of a bail hearing next Monday.

Dotcom must also report daily to the Albany police station between now and then.

Judge Nevin Dawson imposed the extra conditions following arguments from Queen's Counsel Christine Gordon.

It followed the judge giving Dotcom's lawyers -- Queen's Counsel Paul Davison and Simpson Grierson -- leave to withdraw from the case.

The extradition hearing of Dotcom and his co-accused was also put off by the judge until next June.

High profile Queen's Counsel Paul Davison and one of the country's biggest law firms, Simpson Grierson, last week stepped down from Kim Dotcom's legal team.

Davison had been representing Dotcom during attempts by United States authorities to extradite him to face trial on what is alleged to be a conspiracy to commit the biggest-ever breach of copyright.

Simpson Grierson partner William Akel had also been acting on the case and fellow partner Tracey Walker was representing Dotcom in a lawsuit he is facing from Hollywood studios.

The firm was recorded as solicitors for Dotcom in both cases.
