The Jack singers Charlotte Graf (left) and Leanne Malcolm, plus bandmates Matt Anthony on lead guitar, Dave Gent on bass and Ivan Hamilton on drums, are throwing their support behind the Queenstown Lakes Family Centre by volunteering their time to perform dancefloor-filling rock and blues classics at the centre's fundraising black tie charity dinner and auction on Saturday.
The centre offers counselling and support services to children, adolescents and families in the Wakatipu.
The Arrowtown band will play after AnikaBoh&Hollie, the group formed by platinum-selling solo artists Anika Moa, Boh Runga and Hollie Smith, plays at Stoneridge Estate, near Lake Hayes, from 6pm to midnight.
A four-course dinner with fine wine and a live auction of special activities and artwork will be held.
Tickets cost $170 and tables of 10 can be booked.
Free transport is available to and from the event. Phone Shannon Borrell or Ilona Weekley at the centre on (03) 441-4331.
