A Queenstown hotel is undergoing a $3million renovation after being rebranded.
The Hotel St Moritz, in Brunswick St, overlooking Lake Wakatipu, will be part of the MGallery by Sofitel brand, it was announced by parent company AccorHotels yesterday.
The redecoration of its 134 rooms and suites comes after last year's makeover of its bathrooms.
Hotel St Moritz' newly appointed general manager Jo Finnigan said she was excited to be driving the project.
Sister hotel Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa, an 82-room five-star hotel in Duke St, is also undergoing a $3million upgrade this year.
Hotel St Moritz was developed by owner and original developer Graham Wilkinson in 1998.
