Tight cost control and improvement in operating efficiency
helped New Zealand shower and tapware designer Methven
maintain profitability, albeit at a reduced level, in the six
months ended September.
Under-siege tapware and bathroom fittings manufacturer
Methven yesterday provided the market with some positive news
as it reported a reduced half-year profit.
Shower and tapware company Methven Group reported a 22.2
percent fall in full year net profit to $7.8 million, and
said it had weathered the fallout from the global economic
crisis.
