The first of many speed-limit changes was put in place on
Monday morning near Lake Hayes. Queenstown Lakes District
Council contractors from Downer will be installing
speed-limit reduction signs from Hawea to Wanaka to Cardrona
and Kelvin Heights.
Travellers on some Otago Peninsula roads could be taking life
in an even slower lane from March next year, if the Dunedin
City Council agrees to recommendations made by its speed
limits bylaw subcommittee yesterday.
