Today’s profit is tomorrow’s failure. New Zealanders, it seems, are world leaders in thinking short term. Just look at any child’s toy collection these days. Bought for Christmas, broken by New Years, and in the landfill by Easter. Thus, we teach our children from the youngest age to use what we have today, without consequence for tomorrow.
