Boat arsons: Sydney cops seek mystery man

Police hunting for an arsonist who torched two luxury boats in Sydney are trying to find a mystery man spotted carrying a brown paper bag.

The blaze sent the yacht and cruiser, together worth $2 million, to the bottom of the harbour and the culprit remains at large three weeks on.

Police have released new video footage of a man, dressed from head to toe in black and carrying the brown paper bag, spotted near Woolloomooloo's Finger Wharf.

The July 4 fire forced the evacuation of about 100 people who live nearby.

Police also had to scramble to move surrounding boats to prevent them from being destroyed.
