We don't want these people at our games

Following on from the frustration voiced in the ODT at the few people throwing bottles from the terraces at the test on Saturday, I would like to forward this photo to you of the people standing behind us in the terraces.

There was a running commentary from them all game, and at some points admittedly they were somewhat entertaining - that banter is one of the reasons people go to the terraces. You do have to wonder at the intelligence level of people yelling 'sing the English version' during the French national anthem though.

The worst part for sure was just after the final whistle, we turn around to find one of the men in their group displaying a long plastic pipe hanging out the bottom of the inside of one of his trousers legs, and he was urinating right there. He had been doing it all game, and his friends thought it was hilarious.

What sort of disgusting people are happy to stand in their own urine, and think it's funny to have other people standing around in it too.?

Lots of people around us kept their bottles of drink at their feet. It's people like this, and those few that threw the bottles, that ruin it for the majority. It's really quite sad to think that people seem to be losing a sense of decency and common courtesy.

Rugby games we have been to in Cork in Ireland, you can hear a pin drop when either team is kicking for goal. yet we seem to 'boo' at any opportunity.

The terraces have been a place of many traditions, but I really hope that these few aren't going to become the majority.
