The sudden appearance of a see-saw in a city parking space
may not be a form of protest after all.
Just one month ago skateboarders in the Thomas Burns Street
skate park observed the driver of a utility vehicle instal a
matching blue playground slide on the grassed area of a
nearby traffic roundabout.
When asked what they thought what its purpose was, they were
bewildered but were quick to test its suitablilty as a riding
surface.
Photographer Clive Copeman speculates that the pieces of
playground equipment are guerilla art installations.
