Holidaymakers in Otematata over Easter are being reminded of the temporary liquor ban.
The ban, which will run from 9pm on April 21 until 6am on April 26, extends to the southern boundary of the town, the boundaries of the Otematata Golf Course, the 80kmh speed limits to the east and west of the township and on Loch Laird Rd.
Last year, the Waitaki District Council voted to impose the ban at Labour Weekend, Christmas and Easter to stop trouble during holiday periods.
