Police are investigating a suspicious house fire in Tuatapere.
About 3am yesterday the Tuatapere Fire Brigade attended the fire at 13 Groveburn Rd.
A bedroom at the rear of the house sustained extensive fire damage, with the rest of the house sustaining smoke damage.
Police and a Fire Service investigator have examined the scene and believe that the fire is suspicious.
