McBride won the open women's single sculls in convincing fashion in 7min 50.82sec, from her Southern Regional Performance Centre opponents Olivia Low (7min 55.46sec) and Lisa Owen (7min 57.67sec).
The John Parnell-coached sculler is on target to get to the world junior rowing championships in Lithuania next August.
