A brilliant solo try by centre Aleki Morris in injury time gave Harbour their first win of the season at Watson Park today.

Morris, the try scoring midfield back in the Otago Boys' first XV last year, gave Harbour a 16-12 win over Kaikorai.

The outstanding player in the game was Kaikorai centre Jayden Spence, who scored two tries.

Alhambra-Union also gained their first win of the season when they beat Green Island 25-20 at the North Ground.

Southern's 11-year hold of the Jack Hore Memorial Trophy continued when Pirates were trounced 31-0 at Bathgate Park.

Taieri are the other unbeaten team after beating University A 28-20 at Peter Johnstone Park to retain the Speight's Challenge Shield.

Flanker Hugh Blake scored two tries when Dunedin had a runaway 38-8 win over Zingari-Richmond at Kettle Park.

Dunedin 38, Zingari-Richmond 8; Harbour 16, Kaikorai 14; Taieri 28, University A 20; Alhambra-Union 25, Green Island 20; Southern 31, Pirates 0.
