Taieri was efficiently led by No 8 Charlie O'Connell with his aggressive running while second five-eighth Ben Nowellhad no trouble breaking the defensive line. The support and link play for the ball carrier was a feature of Taieri's attack. None did this better than openside flanker Willis Scott.
Taieri scored six tries to lead 36-0 at the break and added another seven tries and 41 more points in the second spell.
