John McGlashan College first XV second five-eighth Nemo Jent is tackled by Whitgift School winger Lartyea Laryea at the college yesterday.

The English school is on a tour across three countries and ran out the winner yesterday, beating the host 28-20 after it led 17-6 at halftime.

Whitgift School is a private school in south London and, on tour, has already had a win in Hong Kong. The side will now head for the West Coast before departing for the Cook Islands.

Meanwhile, Otago Boys' High School had a big win against Menzies College at Bishopscourt yesterday in the Highlanders First XV competition. Otago Boys' won 88-10, scoring 16 tries, with winger Jackson Mitchell crossing for three tries.

The game was played yesterday as Otago Boys' will take on Christ's College in a special match on Saturday at Littlebourne as part of the 150th anniversary celebrations for the Dunedin school.
