Police are investigating the theft of a pork roast and a pillow from a Balclutha address on Saturday.
Sergeant Craig Dinnissen, of Balclutha, described the $20 slab of pork as a possible Sunday roast, and said the pillow might have been used to hide the theft.
Sgt Dinnissen said police were keen to "crackle the case" and were seeking sightings of anyone in the Charlotte St area at about 10am, with a pork roast or a pillow.
