Real estate agent Adam Heazlewood could not reveal the exact price of this sleek, upmarket home but suspects it is the highest sale in Christchurch this year.
He said the sale August 11 sale was “considerably above” the capital value of $5.54m.

Also designed by Chris Wilson, this elevated seaside property is located in Christchurch’s most expensive suburb where the median house price is $1.8m.
It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms with an open-plan, modern style – impressive for when it was built in 2000.
Sold on March 24, the home has sold twice before, both times for $3.7m in 2017 and 2004.
It includes a lift into the home from the triple garage.

It has a $5m capital value and was sold on October 14.
The home features three expansive living areas.
The former site of Elizabeth House, built in 1914 and later used for functions and as a wedding venue. The original building was damaged by the earthquakes and demolished in August 2011.
