Justin Bieber is returning to New Zealand.

The Canadian phenomenon will land in New Zealand on July 19 for a three-day promotional visit. Details of his trip are yet to be confirmed.

Bieber announced the visit on Twitter, saying: "... and oh yeah I'm going to New Zealand on July 19th!!''

The 18-year-old was last here in April, 2010 when he was mobbed by Kiwi fans everywhere he went during a promotional visit.

The trip wasn't without controversy - Bieber reportedly stormed off the set of TV show What Now after being sprayed in L&P.

He also performed for Strathallan School students in Papakura.

Bieber is currently in the middle of worldwide promo duties for his latest album, Believe. He caused chaos in Oslo, Norway, where almost 50 fans were injured after a daytime performance.

Bieber is the most viewed YouTube artist of all time with 2.7 billion views. He has more than 22 million Twitter followers, 43 million Facebook followers, and has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide.
