Many of the school's 60 pupils are from surrounding sheep farms which are now drought-stricken, forcing farmers to sell off stock.
The Little Wonders preschoolers created paintings for the school as part of a goodwill package aimed at raising the community's spirits during the drought.
It was hoped Dunedin residents would visit the Strath Taieri A&P Show in Middlemarch today to show their support.
