A young man has been found dead on Auckland's North Shore.
The 19-year-old was discovered on a grass verge on Stanley St, Glenfield, around 9.20pm last night, police said.
His injuries were consistent with having fallen from a height, police said.
"Enquiries are underway to establish whether there are any suspicious circumstances or whether this is a matter for the coroner," a police spokeswoman said.
"At this stage his death is being treated as unexplained."
The man's next of kin have been notified.
