Police have been on the hunt overnight for three men, thought to be involved in a violent robbery in Hamilton.
The Peachgrove Superette on East St was held up at 6pm yesterday.
It is believed the trio used a hammer and a knife, demanding cigarettes.
They are believed to be Maori, aged around 19 years.
One of them was wearing a fluorescent vest while the other two are said to have been wearing dark jackets.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw the men, or anything suspicious in the area.
