Balclutha's Centennial Swimming Pool will be closed from the end of July for its annual maintenance and cleaning.
The pool will close on July 26 and open again at the end of August.
Clutha District Council communications co-ordinator Rachel Askew said work planned included maintenance of the plant and heating systems as well as draining the pool and replacing seals.
"It's also a chance to carry out a spring clean of the pool and complex,'' Ms Askew said.
The work allows the pool to operate with fewer disruptions during the year.
